Update Brush Fire 06/23/2022 INC#0966 - Update Brush Fire; INC#0966; 03:15PM; 15278 W Lakeside St; ; #Sylmar; Currently, over 100 LAFD firefighters, along with assistance from LA County FD and LAFD Crew 3 (volunteer hand crew), have responded to attack the brush fire by ground and air. Approximately 7 acres have burned, with no structures damaged. CONTAINED Brush Fire 06/23/2022 INC#0966 - CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#0966; 03:34PM; 15278 W Lakeside St; ; #Sylmar; Forward progress of the fire has been stopped at approximately 25 acres - combination of grass and brush. Firefighters assigned to structure protection defended homes on several sides of the fire, while air and ground crews made direct attacks on the flames to snuff out this fire in one hour and 40 minutes. No structures damaged. No reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
