Update #Avenue60Fire Greater Alarm Brush Fire 07/01/2022 INC#1649 - Update #Avenue60Fire Greater Alarm Brush Fire; INC#1649; 11:00PM; 368 S Av 60; ; #HighlandPark; Ninety-six LAFD firefighters (along with mutual aid from two LA County FD hand crews) continue to attack the fire by ground and air. The fire is burning uphill in steep terrain, but thankfully in very light wind conditions. Firefighter are assigned structure protection in a nearby neighborhood as a precaution. Firefighters will remain on scene for an extended period of time to improve containment lines and ensure remaining hot spots and smoldering debris is fully extinguished. No reported injuries.
