KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 08/16/2022 INC#1553 - KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1553; 08:33PM; 1281 W Exposition Bl; ; #ExpositionPark; It took 40 firefighters 40 minutes to extinguish a blaze at a former (now vacant) laundromat. Firefighters positioned themselves around the exterior of the structure with hose lines to douse the flames, including positions on the roofs of two residential structures for protection. Firefighters contained the flames to the building of origin (and some ornamental vegetation immediately outside). No reported injuries.
