Fatality Fire 01/30/2023 INC#0233 - Fatality Fire; INC#0233; 04:58AM; 613 N Hagar St; ; City of San Fernando; PRELIM: LAFD Firefighters arrived quickly to find a recreational vehicle parked in the rear yard of a single family home well involved with fire, the intense flames threatening an adjacent garage converted to living quarters, and a 15' x 15' tool shed. Three persons in the converted garage were able to escape unharmed. Firefighters also prevented flames from damaging the primary occupied home on the property. In fully extinguishing the burning RV (5:23 AM), firefighters discovered the remains of an adult male within the vehicle. No other injuries were reported. LAFD Investigators have been joined by San Fernando Police Department detectives in a methodical fire cause investigation.
