LAFD has responded with Hazardous Materials and USAR specialists. The leak has now been shut down. Patient care is in progress by Firefighter Paramedics. A total of four patients have been transported from the scene, one of which was rescued by a rigid basket/stretcher and lowered by a rope system to ground level (patients: 35M moderate, 43M moderate, 26M moderate & 40M serious).
