KNOCKDOWN Greater Alarm Structure Fire 08/29/2023 INC#0686 - KNOCKDOWN Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#0686; 11:51AM; 2311 N Daly St; ; #LincolnHeights; *Corrected Address* Firefighters found a 100-ft x 100-ft one-story commercial building on fire. Crews made entry with hose lines, and extinguished the first-floor fire. Crews then discovered a mezzanine inside, which contained additional fire above. Ultimately, it took 88 firefighters 57 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames (additional companies have been added for workload relief during overhaul operations). We want to thank the volunteers from our LAFD CERT program who responded to assist with hydration and rehab, to support firefighters as they work during this heatwave. No reported injuries.
