Fire damage was skilfuly confined to *three* of *eight* adjoining businesses in the 150' x 75' row of one-story commercial buildings. Though the bulk of fire damage was held to the address of 213 East 12th Street and the two adjacent businesses, all eight commercial occupancies in the block sustained some smoke impact from the intense fire. No injuries have been reported. Update Greater Alarm Structure Fire 11/04/2023 INC#0985 - Update Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#0985; 05:30PM; 213 E 12th St; ; #Downtown; Following fire extinguishment, during the overhaul, physical hazard abatement and investigative support phase of the incident, one LAFD Firefighter sustained non-life threatening blunt force trauma to his arm in a fall. Pursuant to protocol, he has been transported by LAFD ambulance in good condition to an area hospital for first care. No other injuries have been reported.
