The building is a large commercial property with a division wall separating the front from the back (A from the C side) and crews are working to keep the fire from extending beyond the wall. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 12/16/2023 INC#0844 - KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0844; 01:46PM; 911 E 59th St; ; Florence; KNOCKDOWN: Over 80 firefighters extinguished the fire in one hour and 18 minutes with no injuries reported. There are still numerous smoldering piles and smoke will be visible throughout the overhaul operation. LAFD Heavy Equipment, including the RS3 Robotic Firefighting Vehicle, are responding to move debris and allow firefighters to ensure all hot spots are out and no smoldering remains.
