Fire 01/23/2024 INC#0129 - Fire; INC#0129; 03:09AM; 7501 S Normandie Av; ; #ManchesterSquare; While battling a debris fire at an encampment in an abandoned subterranean pedestrian tunnel that transverses Normandie Avenue, one LAFD Fire Captain sustained a non-life threatening blast injury when a pressurized gas (oxygen?) cylinder exploded. He has been taken to an area hospital in fair condition for further assessment and treatment. No other injuries reported.
