Hazardous Materials 02/06/2024 INC#1658 - Hazardous Materials; INC#1658; 06:49PM; 3621 S Pacific Av; #SanPedro; LAFD responded to a 4-story apartment building for a chemical investigation. Higher-than-normal carbon monoxide readings were found on the fourth floor, and residents were evacuated from 8 units. Third floor (and below) readings were normal, therefore, residents were instructed to remain inside their units. Several residents were evaluated and released on scene. Firefighters will ventilate the area and ensure readings are normal before clearing the scene.
