KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 02/28/2024 INC#0102 - KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0102; 02:59AM; 705 E Broadway Av; ; #Venice; Firefighters responded to a two-story home under construction to find heavy fire showing. Firefighters engaged in a defensive attack (from the exterior only). Crews found hazardous electrical wires down in the rear. Hose lines were advanced around the perimeter of the fire and firefighters used a "surround and drown" tactic. The first 45 firefighters to arrive took 31 minutes to extinguish the blaze. No reported injuries.
