KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 04/07/2024 INC#0776 - KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0776; 01:18PM; 2511 S San Pedro St; ; #HistoricSouth-Central; Initial arriving firefighters found One-Story commercial doing business as Burger King with heavy smoke showing. Firefighters utilized fire attack hose lines with vertical ventilation to quickly extinguished the flames and keeping the fire from spreading vertically or horizontally. It took 36 firefighters 16 minutes to extinguish the flames and achieve a knockdown. LAFD resources will remain on scene to insure complete extinguishment. LACO Health department notified. The cause and origin is currently under investigation.
