KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 04/11/2024 INC#0422 - KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0422; 08:33AM; 650 W 111th St; ; #VermontVista; Firefighters responded to a one-story home with smoke showing. They made access through the front door and found two people inside, as flames grew in one room to the rear of the structure. Firefighters rescued both adult occupants from the structure, who thankfully sustained only minor smoke inhalation before being pulled out. It took 33 firefighters 13 minutes to extinguish the flames, limiting the fire damage to just one room and part of the hallway. LAFD ambulances transported both patients to a nearby hospital.
