Fire held to 1 acre, forward progression of the fire has been stopped. LAFD is still working to gain full extinguishment. LAFD will have a brush patrol unit on-scene over night to monitor. [verified]

LAFD is providing an update that the fire consisted of three separate fires, which have now merged into one. Estimated size is now 1 acre. LAFD is working on gaining complete containment. [verified]
