Knockdown - Grass Fire 08/27/2024 INC#1499 - Knockdown - Grass Fire; INC#1499; 08:00PM; 2510 E Chelsea St; #BoyleHeights; 20 LAFD Firefighters skillfully confined the fire to one acre of vegetation north of the 10 Freeway and south of Soto Street. Though one home was briefly threatened, firefighters prevented any infra/structure damage or injury. While witnesses have described an adult male having possibly set fire(s) in the area and LAPD (Hollenbeck Division Incident #4468) was notified of such, LAFD is unaware if that man has been located or detained by Police.
