There is no wind, no structure threat and no evacuation at this time. #RockyFire Brush Fire 10/22/2024 INC#0842 - Update #RockyFire Brush Fire; INC#0842; 01:30PM; 11500 N Topanga Canyon Bl; <a href="https://bit.ly/43FcXmE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://bit.ly/43FcXmE</a>; #Chatsworth; LAFD ground and air resources have largely contained and will handle an approximately two acre slow moving wildfire involving light-to-medium brush in rugged City of Los Angeles terrain southeast of the intersection of the Ronald Reagan (SR118) Freeway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Allied agency responders are being released. Though there is a now a light (5-8 mph) wind from the north. no structures are threatened, there is no current threat to the nearby freeway or Metrolink rail line, and no evacuations are required. #LATraffic: Closure of all lanes of Topanga Canyon Boulevard between Santa Susana Pass Road and the 118 Freeway until LAFD operations are complete. Unknown ETO. Travelers, avoid the area and consider an alternate route. Detours are available. No injury, No structure damage. No evacuation. Fire cause under investigation. #LATraffic: Closure of all lanes of Topanga Canyon Boulevard between Santa Susana Pass Road and the 118 Freeway will continue until LAFD operations are complete and the roadway has been determined safe for public travel.
