LAFD Firefighters responding by ground and air took just 76 minutes to fully contain the "Collis Fire" wildfire to one-half (0.5) acre of light grass to medium brush in remote terrain of the Elephant Hill Open Space. One 78 year-old male civilian (undetermined site affiliation) was discovered with severe burn injury. In serious condition, he is being transported by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital. No structure involvement. No evacuation. Firefighters will remain at scene this evening mopping up hot spots, Fire cause under active investigation. [verified]
