Initially reported as a grass fire (30'x30'), the incident commander upgraded to a brush fire due to topography the fire spread (50'x50'). Approximately 46 firefighters on the ground fully extinguished all active flames and remain on scene for mop up. Air resources were deployed but not utilized. No injuries reported and no structures damaged. [verified]

X 50' patch of grass on fire, unknown cause. Moving slowly downhill, topography driven, along Tacoma Ave. No injuries reported. Firefighters are securing hose lines at the heel of the fire and providing structure protection. [verified]
