LAFD crews arrived to find smoke showing from the top floor of a three-story center hall apartment building. Crews initiated an aggressive attack on the fire and were able to contain the fire to one room of the affected unit. No injuries reported at this time. Crews will remain on scene to perform salvage and overhaul operations. LADWP is responding for an associated water leak unable to be mitigated by LAFD resources. [verified]
